Diabetes Pilot Desktop for Windows:
Download Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble during the download itself, the culprit
is usually security programs on your computer (such as virus
scanners or firewall software) that interfere with the download.
It can also be caused by temporary problems with some part of
the
internet connection between your system and ours. First,
restart your computer. Then, try the following:
- First, try temporarily disabling any antivirus, firewall,
or similar types software that you may have on your system.
If you are at work, it's very likely that the download is getting
blocked by systems on your company's network - you should
talk
to the appropriate people at your company about this possibility
and how to resolve it.
- Then, try the download again. If the problem was a temporary
issue with the internet connection, it's likely that simply
trying the
download again at a later time will bring success. Follow
the download
and installation instructions on our website exactly as shown
- don't
try to shortcut any of the steps.
- If you still have trouble, try this alternate
download:
Click
here to download an alternate installer
When you
do this, you may be prompted "open" or "save" the
file. Save the file on your computer, then locate the file and
double-click on it
to run it. This download contains all of the files in a single
package.
The installer may want to update your
system. Following the update it may want to restart your computer.
If
a restart is required, the installer may or may not continue
after the restart. If it doesn't, just run it again. The second
time, it won't need to do the system update and will install
Diabetes Pilot.
