Diabetes Pilot for Palm: Download Instructions

Install Diabetes Pilot on your handheld by following the steps below.

We hope that you will find Diabetes Pilot to be a useful tool. By downloading or using Diabetes Pilot, you are indicating that you agree to the terms of the software license agreement. If you do not agree with the license agreement, you may not download or use the program.

Step Two: Download and run the installer

Download the installer by clicking on the link below. When you do this, you may be prompted "open" or "save" the file. Choose "open" or "run from this location". Alternately, save the file on your computer, then locate the file and double-click on it to run it.

Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the installation. The installer will unpack the software and queue it for installation to your handheld.

Step Three: Run a HotSync to install the program on your handheld

After the installer finishes, place your handheld in it's cradle and press the HotSync button on the cradle. Be patient while the program and the food database installs. Depending on your particular configuration, the transfer of the food database may take several minutes.

Step Four (Optional): Diabetes Pilot Desktop

Diabetes Pilot for Palm works together with our Diabetes Pilot Desktop software (sold separately).

If you already have Diabetes Pilot Desktop on your computer, check the version:

Start Diabetes Pilot Desktop on your desktop PC
Click on the "Help" menu, then "About"
Look at the version number. If it is less than 4.0, you will need to get an updated version of the software before you can use it with this Palm software. Click here to visit our update page for more information.
